 Reg Grandis is the president of Grandis Jewellers Inc. He is a graduate gemmologist from the Gemmological Institute of America, a graduate jeweller from the Canadian Jewellers Institute, a certified diamond grader from the Hoge Raad Voor Diamant in Antwerp, Belgium, and one of only 12 certified gemmologist appraisers certified by the American Gem Society in all of Canada. He also holds the designation as a Registered Master Valuer, one of twelve in Canada (a masters degree in valuation science). He is a graduate of the Jewellery Design Institute in Richmond, Virginia, a Graduate of Brock University and a certified watchmaker from George Brown College. He has sat on the advisory board to the jewellery arts course at George Brown College. He grew up in the family jewellery business,
has worked in both the wholesale and retail sides of the industry and has a lifetime of experience in all aspects of watchmaking, goldsmithing and appraising. |
